Your First Visit
Muse Orthodontics wants to welcome you to our practice We are looking forward to getting to know you!
During your first visit, we will introduce you to the team and do an initial exam. This exam will include diagnostic images as well as x-rays of your teeth.Our goal is to collect information and formulate a plan of treatment custom to your specific needs. Dr. Muse will then discuss the estimated length and cost of treatment.
We will discuss our orthodontic process with you and talk about what goals we hope to accomplish. Get ready to have a healthy, beautiful smile!
**Please bring a minimum of 6 boxes of character band aids to Blait E Baton Children’s Hospital for $100 off of a new start of treatment!
Types of Braces
Invisalign®
Invisalign® uses a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners to straighten your teeth. And, no one can tell you are wearing Invisalign because it’s invisible! Not only are the aligners invisible, they are removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment, plus brushing and flossing are less of a hassle. The aligners are comfortable and have no metal to cause mouth abrasions during treatment.
Damon® System
The truly innovative Damon bracket utilizes “sliding-door” technology known as “self-ligation” that allows the wire to slide back and forth within the bracket.
No elastic or steel ties are used with Damon brackets.
This technology creates less friction and results in greater comfort for the patient. In addition, Damon braces reduce both treatment time and the number of adjustments that are usually performed.
Damon® Clear
Damon Clear has clear advantages over traditional braces and aligners. Damon Clear is part of the innovative Damon System, which combines tieless braces with high technology archwires that are clinically proven to move teeth fast and comfortably with truly spectacular smile and facial results.
